Please read this Refund and Cancellation Policy carefully. By making a payment on the MotorPlus Website (Platform) for any service, including but not limited to Insurance and FASTag, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.

General Policy: Non-Refundable Nature of Services

MotorPlus acts as an intermediary/facilitator connecting users with third-party service providers (such as Insurance Companies, Banks, and FASTag Issuers).

Once a payment is successfully processed and the service request is forwarded to the third-party provider, the transaction is considered final.

Strict No-Refund Rule: IT IS HEREBY CLARIFIED THAT NO REFUNDS OR CANCELLATIONS WILL BE ENTERTAINED FOR ANY SUCCESSFUL TRANSACTION UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

Insurance Policy (Car, Bike, Health, Commercial)

When you purchase or renew an insurance policy through MotorPlus:

  • Immediate Issuance: The premium amount is immediately transferred to the respective Insurance Company to generate your policy.
  • No Cancellation via MotorPlus: Once the payment is made and the policy is generated (or the proposal is submitted), MotorPlus cannot cancel the policy or refund the premium amount.
  • Disputes: If you have made an error in the details (e.g., wrong spelling, incorrect vehicle details) or wish to cancel the policy for any other reason, you must contact the Insurance Company directly. Any refund or cancellation will be solely at the discretion of the Insurance Company and governed by their specific terms and conditions. MotorPlus has no authority to authorize refunds on their behalf.

FASTag Issuance and Recharge

  • Recharges: FASTag recharges are real-time transactions. Once the money is successfully deducted from your account and credited to your FASTag wallet/account, it is strictly non-refundable. We cannot reverse a recharge once it is successful.
  • New Issuance: Fees paid for the issuance of a new FASTag are non-refundable once the tag ID has been assigned or the order has been processed by the issuing bank.

Failed Transactions

In the rare event that an amount is deducted from your bank account/card, but the service was not delivered (e.g., Insurance Policy not generated or FASTag balance not updated) due to a technical error or server failure:

  • The amount will be automatically refunded to your original payment source by the Payment Gateway within 5 to 7 working days.
  • If the service was successful and the product (Policy/Recharge) was delivered, this clause does not apply, and no refund will be given.

Chargebacks and Disputes

  • Users agree not to raise a chargeback with their bank for services that have been successfully delivered. Any false chargeback claims will be contested with proof of service delivery, and MotorPlus reserves the right to suspend the User's access to the Platform.
